Greetings from Oshkosh! We arrived on Monday and immediately found Menominee Park for a scenic walk along Lake Winnebago. By the time we’d finished that stroll, it was time to check into the Best Western Hotel, right on the Fox River. After freshening up, we found Evil Roy Slade’s, a neighborhood tavern a couple blocks from the hotel and a place that I definitely wanted to visit while in town. Evil Roy Slade is one of my all time favorite movies and we enjoyed having a drink (or two) with the locals that afternoon. Dinner at Becket’s that evening was really nice and our brief stay in Oshkosh will be a nice memory for us. Take care!
