Beloit, WI

We’d been through Beloit many times in our travels but we had never stopped to have a look around til September 2013 while we were on our Wisconsin Martino Quest adventure.  We arrived on a late Sunday morning and had lunch at a most unique sports bar called “Rivals”.  I’d never experienced a Packers/Bears bar before but I guess the name says it all.  We had dinner that evening at Merrill & Houston’s”, a nice steak place in the Beloit Inn, our digs for our one night in town.  Before we left on Monday morning, we took advantage of the wonderful walkway the city has created along the Rock River.  Our time in Beloit was a perfect start to this mini-vacation.  See ya soon!
